This policy explains how Viamonte S.L. processes the personal data collected through doctorpegamento.com (the “Website”), in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), and Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).
1. Who is the controller of your data?
- Controller: Viamonte S.L. (Doctor Pegamento by Viamonte)
- Spanish tax ID (NIF): B50048040
- Postal address: Pol. Ind. El Plano, Calle A, Naves 26-28, 50430 María de Huerva (Zaragoza), Spain
- Phone: (+34) 976 12 63 75
- Email (also for privacy matters): viamonte@viamonte.net
2. What data do we process?
- The data you give us in the contact form: your name and email address and, if you choose to give them, your company, your phone number and the details of your enquiry (for example, the type of application or the materials you want to bond).
- Where your enquiry comes from: the parameters of the link you arrive through (UTM parameters, which show the source, medium and campaign, and the “gclid” click identifier that Google adds to some links) and the page you came from (referrer). If you haven’t accepted analytics cookies, this information is only read from the address of the page you’re on and sent with the form in a hidden field, without being stored in your browser. Only if you accept analytics cookies is it stored temporarily in your browser (
sessionStorage) while you browse, so it isn’t lost if you move to another page before contacting us. - Browsing and measurement data: only if you accept the relevant cookies, we collect data through Google Analytics 4 on how you use the Website (pages visited, device, approximate location, where the visit came from and whether you send the form). See the Cookie Policy.
- Technical connection data: when you visit the Website, your browser automatically sends your IP address and other technical data (browser type, operating system, date and time) to our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
- Anti-spam data: when you send the form, we store your IP address as a hash (an irreversibly encrypted code, never the IP itself) to limit the number of submissions.
- Proof of your consent: the status of the boxes you tick, the date and time of submission and the version of the legal text you accepted, as well as the choices you make in the cookie panel.
We only ask for the data we need to handle your request. Please don’t include sensitive data or other people’s personal data in your message.
3. Why do we use your data and on what legal basis?
a) To answer your enquiry or your request for advice or a quote. We use your data to reply to you, recommend an adhesive solution and, if you ask us to, prepare an offer and follow it up. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for anything not related to a possible contract, the consent you give when sending the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
b) To know where enquiries come from. We link to your request the origin data sent with the form (UTM parameters, gclid and referring page) so that we know which channels and campaigns generate enquiries and can improve our communication. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing where the enquiries we receive come from (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), only for linking to your request the data sent with it. Storing that data in your browser while you browse is not based on legitimate interest: it only happens if you accept analytics cookies (Art. 22(2) LSSI-CE). You can object at any time by writing to viamonte@viamonte.net.
c) To analyse how the Website is used and measure our campaigns. With Google Analytics 4 we get usage statistics for the Website and measure how many enquiries are sent (a conversion event when the form is submitted) and which campaigns generate them. Legal basis: your consent, given in the cookie panel (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22(2) LSSI-CE). If you don’t give it, no Google tag is loaded. You can withdraw it at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
d) To send you marketing communications, only if you allow us to by ticking the corresponding box, about industrial adhesives, technical news and other products and services of Viamonte S.L. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 21 LSSI-CE). You can withdraw it whenever you want.
e) To display the Website properly and keep it secure: serving the pages and protecting the Website against attacks and abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing a functional and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
f) To protect the form against spam and automated submissions. We accept a maximum of 5 submissions every 10 minutes from the same IP address, which we only store as a hash, and we use a honeypot field, invisible to people, that detects bots. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the Website secure and preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
g) To be able to prove that you gave us your consent, by keeping a record of the boxes you ticked and your cookie choices. Legal basis: compliance with the legal obligation to demonstrate consent (Arts. 6(1)(c) and 7(1) GDPR).
h) To meet our legal obligations if your request leads to a business relationship, such as tax and accounting obligations or requests from the authorities. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We don’t make automated decisions or carry out profiling that has legal effects on you.
The fields marked as mandatory in the form are needed to handle your request. If you don’t fill them in, we won’t be able to reply.
4. How long do we keep your data?
- Enquiries and requests for advice or quotes (including the associated UTM, gclid and referrer data): for as long as necessary to handle your request and follow it up commercially. If no business relationship results, we will delete the data once it is no longer needed for that purpose or when you ask us to.
- Customers: for the duration of the business relationship and then for the legal retention periods: 6 years for accounting records for commercial purposes (Art. 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code) and 4 years for tax purposes (Arts. 66 to 70 of the Spanish General Tax Law).
- Marketing communications: until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe.
- Google Analytics 4 data: user-level and event-level data is kept in Google Analytics for 2 months and then deleted automatically. Measurement cookies last for the period shown in the Cookie Policy.
- IP hash for anti-spam: the IP is encrypted with salted SHA-256 and the hash is kept for no more than 24 hours. After that it is deleted.
- Proof of consent: for as long as we keep the data of your request or you keep receiving marketing communications, and then for the period during which liabilities may arise. The record of your cookie choices is kept while those choices are valid (12 months at most) and then for the same liability period.
- Technical connection logs: for the period set by our hosting provider’s retention policy.
Once the relevant period ends, we will block your data. It will only be kept available to the public authorities and the courts to deal with any liabilities during the applicable limitation period (Art. 32 LOPDGDD). After that, we will delete it.
5. Who else can access your data?
We don’t share your data with third parties unless the law requires us to (for example, with the tax authorities or the courts).
For the Website to work, we use providers who, as data processors, may access your data. They always do so under a contract that complies with Article 28 GDPR and only to provide their services to us:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (and, where applicable, its EU subsidiary, Cloudflare Germany GmbH):
- Cloudflare Pages: hosts the Website and serves it to your browser.
- Cloudflare D1: stores in a database the requests you send us through the form (with their UTM/gclid/referrer origin data), proof of your consent and the IP hash used for anti-spam.
- Cloudflare Workers and Email Routing: send an email notification of each new request to Viamonte S.L.’s mailbox.
- Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland): provides the Google Analytics 4 service for analytics and conversion measurement, only if you accept the relevant cookies.
- Our corporate email provider, whose mailbox receives the request notifications.
6. Does your data leave the European Economic Area?
Yes, in these cases:
- Cloudflare: Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States and its network operates worldwide, so your data may be processed outside the EEA. These transfers are covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Cloudflare, Inc. participates (Art. 45 GDPR), and by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR), which form part of its data processing agreement.
- Google: if you accept analytics cookies, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. This transfer is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Google LLC participates (Art. 45 GDPR), and also by the standard contractual clauses in Google’s data processing terms.
For more information about these safeguards, write to us at viamonte@viamonte.net.
7. What are your rights?
You can exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access: find out whether we process your data and get a copy.
- Rectification: correct your data if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data when, among other reasons, it is no longer needed.
- Objection: object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interest (for example, recording where your enquiry came from) and, in any case, to receiving marketing communications.
- Restriction: ask us to keep your data without processing it, for example while we check whether it is accurate.
- Portability: receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used format, or ask us to send it to another controller, when we process it based on your consent or a contract.
- Withdraw your consent whenever you want, including your cookie consent, through the “Cookie settings” link. Withdrawing it doesn’t affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.
How to exercise them: write to viamonte@viamonte.net stating in the subject line which right you want to exercise, or send a letter to the address in section 1. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you for additional information to confirm it. We will reply within one month, which may be extended by two further months if the request is complex.
To stop receiving marketing communications, you can also use the unsubscribe link included in every message.
Complaints: if you think we haven’t handled your rights properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid; www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of the Member State where you live.
8. Minors
The Website is aimed at businesses and professionals. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 14 (Art. 7 LOPDGDD).
9. Security
We apply the technical and organisational measures required by Article 32 GDPR, taking into account the state of the art and the risk to your rights. These measures are designed to:
- ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of our systems;
- quickly restore access to data in the event of an incident;
- regularly assess the effectiveness of these measures;
- pseudonymise and encrypt data where necessary.
All communication with the Website is encrypted using HTTPS.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to the Website. You’ll always find the current version here, with the date it was last updated.
