In accordance with Article 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and following the Guide on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), Viamonte S.L. (NIF B50048040) explains which cookies and similar technologies doctorpegamento.com (the “Website”) uses and how you can manage them.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files that a website downloads to your computer, tablet or phone to store and retrieve information. Other technologies, such as your browser’s local storage (localStorage), work in a similar way, and the law treats them the same.
The law distinguishes between:
- Technical or necessary cookies: they are essential for the website to work, to keep it secure or to provide a service you have expressly requested, such as remembering a preference or your cookie choice. They don’t need your consent.
- Cookies that need your consent, such as analytics or advertising measurement cookies. We only use them if you accept them.
2. Which cookies does the Website use?
2.1. Technical (always on, exempt from consent)
| Name | Type | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
dp-theme (values light or dark) | localStorage | First party (Viamonte S.L.) | Remember the visual theme you chose (light or dark) | Persistent: stays until you delete it in your browser |
dp-consent | Cookie | First party (Viamonte S.L.) | Store your cookie preferences so we don’t ask you again on every visit | 12 months |
__cf_bm | Cookie | Cloudflare, Inc. (on behalf of Viamonte S.L.) | Tell human traffic from automated traffic (bots) to protect the Website. Only if bot protection is enabled | 30 minutes |
cf_clearance | Cookie | Cloudflare, Inc. (on behalf of Viamonte S.L.) | Remember that you passed a security check so we don’t ask you again. Only if bot protection is enabled | 30 minutes |
2.2. Analytics (only if you accept them)
| Name | Type | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Cookie | Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguish users to produce Website usage statistics | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Cookie | Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics 4) | Keep the session state for those statistics | 2 years |
dp-attribution | sessionStorage | First party (Viamonte S.L.) | Keep the origin of your visit (UTM parameters, gclid and referring page) while you browse, so it can be linked to your enquiry if you contact us | Session: deleted when you close the tab |
If you don’t accept analytics cookies, we don’t store the origin of your visit in your browser: we only read it from the address of the page you’re on and send it with the form if you contact us from that same page.
The durations of Google’s cookies are those stated in Google’s official documentation. Google Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for 2 months. Google’s services may involve data transfers to the United States, covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You’ll find full details in the Privacy Policy and in Google’s information about cookies.
3. How do we ask for your consent?
The first time you visit the Website, we show you a banner with three buttons, all at the same level and equally prominent:
- Accept: turns on analytics cookies.
- Reject: only technical cookies are used.
- Settings: you choose by category whether to allow analytics cookies. No optional category is ticked in advance.
Until you accept, no Google tag is loaded and no analytics or advertising cookie is set. Continuing to browse, scrolling or closing the banner does not count as consent.
We’ll ask you again after 12 months at most, or sooner if the cookies we use or their purposes change.
4. How can you change or withdraw your consent?
You can change your preferences or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings:
If you delete the technical cookies, the Website will show you the banner and the default theme again.
5. Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we’ll update this policy and, where necessary, ask for your consent again.
